Perhaps, because I find them entertaining. But I suppose people find my posts just as entertaining. :D

Is there any later update on the Shop Cart Pro launch? This last message was in March.

I know that the Coffeecup team are extremely keen to get this product out to you all real soon now. You only have to look at the tremendous interest that has been shown in the pro version, to know that it will rapidly become one of Coffeecup's best selling products. More importantly still, it will fill a void that exists in the ecommerce marketplace, for a well featured, 'click to pay' cart.

From an ecommerce perspective, the biggest problem facing most small businesses, is that folks don't like giving total strangers all their details, which quite often is the only way with many carts to even get a shipping cost, let alone make a purchase.

With pro that isn't a problem. The shipping is dynamically updated from the cart with the customer making a required choice from user defined dropdowns on the cart page. The customer knows exactly what ALL the costs are before going out to the payment provider. :) They are only giving their personal information direct to a reputable payment processor, so the customer can shop in relative safety and you as the site owner, don't have to worry about the complexities, or cost of having SSL (the little yellow padlock) on your site.

I know its been a frustrating time for everyone, but you'll soon have a class leading product at your disposal, that will give you significant advantages over the other cart solutions out there. :)

Yeah, there are about 7 of us who have asked a thousand times if it's ready yet... :/ (Although I have to exclude myself from that list, as I've not asked a single time.)

Bet they're gonna sell at least 10 copies the very first day it's available!

I know its been a frustrating time for everyone, but you'll soon...

Oh -- he said the secret word! That's worth 100 bucks, isn't it? :D

Is it correct that a site created in the current version will be usable and modifiable in the Pro version?

Aye, Cap'n. And I didn't fall for that line, either... :D

A lot depends on your interpretation of the word soon Chuck, but from my perspective the sooner the product is released, the sooner it can be evaluated by a much larger target group and the sooner any minor bugs remaining or code enhancements can be dealt with.

I am far more mercenary than most other folks Chuck. As soon as I finish a product, it is put up for sale without delay. It is called proactive ecommerce.

Sadly I cannot control the actions, motivations, or timescales of other's enterprises.. :(
