I just recently built my cart with SCCP, and am very happy with how it works. My old cart finally had a meltdown as it was 9 years old, and was no longer supported.
Just a few things I would like to see in future versions that would make it epic.

1. Somehow incorporate an invoice list. Connect it to the checkout, so that when a customer places an order it is placed in "pending" status. Then when the transaction is completed. The relay url from the gateway places the order in "processed" status. That way I would not have to go to my gateway and get all the info for the order. I could see it all in SCCP, and ship it out.

2. Coupon Codes.

3. Add more sub categories. It would be nice to have at lest 3 levels. I have to get creative on my product categories.

4. A "Tell a friend" about this product form. A button that sends an email to someone with the link to that particular product in my shop.

I hope I have been descriptive enough with my suggestions. I really am happy with the latest version, and look forward to the updates.

One more thing on the invoice. The ability to change the status. If it could have:
1. Pending.
2. Processing.
3. Cancelled.
4. Shipped.

That would be awesome.

A googlebase export feature.
It would export a csv or tab delineated text file so that I could upload the info to my google account.
Google places your product picture and description at the top of it's search list. Which is very helpful in getting sales.
In order to work, I would need these basic items included.

id,product_url name,description,image_url,price, condition.

Below that line would be the information for those items.
Here is an example.

First line:
id product_url name description image_url price condition
Next line:

#1. Is there a way to create a "wish list" in which users may click a button and add the product to their wish list? ..(or "favorite" a product) and then, perhaps, have the wish list emailed to them

OR...

...a way for visitors to LOG-IN/Create and ACCOUNT in the site and store contact info/shipping info/credit card info... as well as, wish lists, shopping cart contents, etc.?

#2. Is there a way for users to check a box on a product page and input their email address to be notified when a product becomes available? I list the descriptions/photo of several products that I have in development and would like to, well, develop them, based upon the interest of my regular customers.

#3. Voting: I'm considering making an "In development" page in which I list pics and info about products that are in development/coming soon... I'd like to enable users to VOTE for the products they'd like to see made available. How can I so this?

#4. What about those "Share" buttons, that allow you to share a product via email/facebook/twitter, etc?

I imagine much of this could be accomplished with the Web Form Builder, but its not familiar to me yet, so any detailed advice is appreciated.

I second some of these request's.

I agree with "tell someone about this product" form where someone could enter their email, and their friends email, and send it with a comment. It could be combined with a captia so that it would not be abused.
I would do it with web form builder, but am not sure how to put the url of the product in the form automatically.

I also think having a customer comment on checkout would be very helpful. I sometimes get the "it's for a birthday, can you ship it today?" comment.

I love SCCpro but am about to move on to something else. I've been waiting long enough for these upgrades and have not much more time, so unless things happen pronto I'm outta here.

I'd like to see the option for a store to NOT send the CC information to Paypal or any other gateway, but instead to email the info to a designated email address via a secure email session. I have some customers that sell organic meat, chicken, etc. by the pound, thus the exact weight is never known until the order is placed and the product is cut and weighed. Their current site does this ... accepts CCs and emails info to them. They then call the customer, let them know the exact weight/billing and it works very well for them.

Here's what I would love to see:

- Ability to show shipping cost on product page.

- Shipping Profiles so that if the profile changes the changes are made to all products with that profile.

- Ability to have a different shipping cost if customer is buying more than one item. Charging the highest shipping cost of the items purchased and the secondary cost on other items.

- When I add a new product I always have to uncheck the Apply Default box. I'd like to be able to change that to default to unchecked.

- Coupon Codes

- Sort the Product Grid by column headings.

- SPELL CHECK

The more I use SCCP the more suggestions I come up with ...

Would like to be able to specify the order the products will be displayed within a category:

price low to high
price high to low
most recent first
alphabetical

It would be nice if the customer could also order the displayed page.

It would be really nice to be able to add a text input option so customers could add special messages/instructions to their SCCP items....
