I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I think that was just a typo. At least I hope so after everything else we've tried.

Carlos, What do you have entered for your Remote Folder in VSD?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi Eric,
I agree with you. That remote folder they gave me is not right. I have always used public_html and never anything else. VSD has public_html and uploads fine.
The strange thing is no matter what I put for the remote folder it will not upload if I have the protocol at FTP, port 21. If I have it at HTTP, port 80 in SCCP it will upload or at least complete upload no matter what I put in the remote folder.
I moved from 3ix because they were getting to many attacks on there servers and on various occasions my website would be offline for days or even a week.
Maybe someone can recommend a good hosting provider and I can just switch? I really cannot keep dealing with this and I have to get it solved. I would of switched over to CoffeCup but they do not support SSL.

VSD also has port 21.
I did find an article which says the following on HostGator
If your FTP program is not connecting properly, here are some possible reasons:
1. Your firewall could be blocking it. -(Windows Firewall I have disabled and also Avast.)
2. Make sure you have the IP address in your welcome email for host name (only the numbers don't add ftp, www or anything else). (I do.)
3. Make sure your username and password are the same as your control panel username and password. (It is)
4. Some FTP programs require a path in order to connect. Your path would be /home/minerva/public_html - (My username is minerva and that is what I have and it causes errors.)
