Where did they go?
Here is a strange one...at least to me.
Tried to upload my SCC Pro. Entered all the server information; username, password, server name, directory, etc.
Then clicked on publish. Computer took about 15 minutes copying lots and lots of files. Watched the line go by, says that the files are going right where they are suppose to go, etc. No errors on upload
Try to access the shop...get 404 message.
Log into server, there is not a directory there as specified, no files.
????Hmmm....
Try whole sequence again. Again takes about same amount of time. Again, no errors, and, alas, no files to be found.
They have to be going somewhere....don't they?
Any ideas?

I have made this error several times, so don't worry about it (assuming its the same error). The server configuration sent your files into the root instead of after the root.
In your server configuration do you have it set up like this:
/public_html/shop/
Substitute shop for whatever folder you are putting the store in. If you are not putting the store into a folder then just do the /public_html/.
Let me know how that works.

Hiya Mark, do you have a link to your site? Did you have it upload to a shop directory or to the main directory of your domain/server? did you include the:
public_html (or equivalent for your server) in your upload information of SCC Pro?
Any and all info you can think of would help us to help you find your shop, it can't have run away too far hehe

Depending on the hosting provider, root may be set at / instead of public_html. You can always ftp in to see what's going on.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
I did finally fix (?) it. Because of the way the server was set up, I had to change the destination directory structure. I have scoured the server and still cannot find where the file went the first time...somewhere in neverland I guess, but they are going to the correct place now. Thanks for all the responses.
Yw and good luck with it Mark
I think the files end up wherever lost pens and pencils end up?
