Michael,
Off topic (and to any that I offend by doing so, SORRY :D)

Couldn't help but notice the Owl... Is that a Live bird? and if so a pet? I would think that would be an awesome companion. I'd looked into obtaining a "falconry" permit years ago, but didn't have anyone near me to help achieve it. I love birds of prey.

So you read the instructions finally huh? :)

The themes are in this new location because Shopping Cart Creator and Shopping Cart Designer will be sharing the same themes.

I have been following these discussions pretty closely
And also have downloaded new versions when I had notifications
I'm still not able to see the extra themes that I downloaded for version 3.5 when they were on offer.
I can not find any "Theme" folder anywhere - or anything called Applications or Documents
The only folders I have are "dict" & "Locations"
& until I downloaded the latest version (because of what I read here) and now have build 2693 - I had no help.pdf at all
Not that I can find anything about adding themes in this help file either.

the other problem I have is that I can not "Publish" from within the application.
Currently I'm exporting and than upload to the server via FTP - which obviously is not the best as I have to upload ALL files every time (?) - synchronising would be so much better - ie uploading and replacing only new files.
Any help on this somewhere ?

It sounds like you have other issues going on here :)

1. All Windows computers, XP or Vista, have a Documents folder. It is part of the Operating System.

If you use Windows XP, you go to C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\My Documents\CoffeeCup Software\Shopping Cart\Themes

If you use Vista, you go to C:\Users\{username}\Documents\CoffeeCup Software\Shopping Cart\Themes

You must substitute {username} with your user name on that computer.

2. What to you mean by you have no "help.pdf"? You can access the documentation by hitting the F1 Key or by manually launching the file here at C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\CoffeeCup Shopping Cart Creator\Help.pdf You must have Adobe Acrobat installed.

3. With the FTP, why can't you use it? What error do you receive? What operating system do you have? What firewalls or anti-virus applications do you have running? If you are under Vista, is UAC enabled?

I am sorry, but we do not support IE 6 as it is just way to old. Even Microsoft does not even support that version.

Scott you know by now i am no genius with this but

the upload problem i had (sounds similar to pelle) was to do with my AVG firewall

I had never used ftp before aquiering coffeecup programs

and it occured after i had a virus on my pc

I had to switch of AVG firewall every time i uploaded, untill my techy friend came round and sorted it for me.

Looking at the recent figures for percentage of browsers used, IE6 has really dropped down the tables now, with less than 15 percent of folks still browsing with it, and that figure is reducing dramatically. Firefox now seems to be the browser of choice and rightly so.

I do get a message that the Blue Skies theme is out of date.

Using the latest version availible.

Kees

You need to download the latest version of Blue Skies from our Website. If you look at that file name, we changed it from Blue Skies (800px).sct to just Blue Skies.SCT about 2 versions ago.

I would suggest manually deleting that file.

Thanks Scott, did download the new files and replaced all of them but the file with (800px) in the filename indeed was not deleted or replaced with a newer version.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
