I have seen a few carts that have a "Search" feature and will bring up products searched for. Is this something in the software that i have not found yet or is there some other way to do this? Thanks!

I used Coffee Cup Flash Search to create a search box and placed the code in the cart footer. Not perfect as your search box ends up at the bottom of pages but it is on all pages. Also, I haven't figured out how to limit redundant information. Sure bears no search feature.

Just use Coffee Cup Flash Search already! If you bought a CC software package you may have it, I did. Plus I don't think the software is all th at expensive. Another work-around, I used Option field to add an item identifier to my inventory. As for inventory control, many, myself included, have more than one selling venue so i/we need to track our inventory. The only thing inventory control within SCC will do for me is keeping an individual buyer from ordering more than one of a OOAK item. Or will SCC Pro change my inventory level in my live (online) cart, then very good to have. The footer area is invaluable, use it! I added a comment to the View Cart page to the effect that I'll issue a partial shipping charge refund if a buyer orders more than one item. Now if I could figure out how to create sub-categories without splitting my cart into sub-directories.

I'm as bummed out as any one and perhaps more while waiting for Pro so I decided to be proactive rather than reactive.

I accidently made a work around for using search for my cart. I got 5 free domains when I registered with my hosting company so I made my shop with a .com, then when I made a main site for our company with Visual Site Designer I used a .ca . I inked the main site and shop together, and put the search on the main site, created the build search using my shop address.
