I'd like to add text input . Clients will be ordering a name tag I'd like to add text input for First Name, Last Name.... in the shopping cart... how?

The best solution I can see would be to contact the client after you have received the order with an email form that collects the required information.
You can build such a form by downloading the Coffee Cup Web Form Builder software:
