Additional cost for checkout modules?

This might be a "well, DUH!" kind of question, but: to date I've not used any of the shopping cart software, I thought I remembered seeing this issue here a long time ago, I can't find it now, and I might need the answer pretty soon.

So, SCC comes set up for Google Checkout, PayPal, and Authorize.net, that I get. Are there any additional charges for any of those services to be set up and used with the software? Any extra modules required? I may be submitting a related quote soon and I need to know whether to take that into account.

Many thanks in advance!

Nope, the only charge is per transaction with the actual provider. It is free to integrate and use. I only use paypal and I know they do a per transaction charge of like 3% I think. Thats it.

One other note: you can integrate it as many times as you want in as many programs as you want as well, there is no limit.

Spinny - The Google and Authorize payment processing used to be add-on modules that were extra. I just looked at the SCC product page though, and it SEEMS to be that they are all three included now. You might want to check with Scott on this to verify. I have SCC but don't use it YET for any of my sites. I had played with one site with my kids, and used SCC to set it up, but haven't kept up with it.

Cart Creator comes with PayPal built in. The google checkout and authorize.net modules are extra and priced at just $19 each. They are listed as current modules on the Cart Creator buying page.

Ah, that explains it: I've never seen the SCC purchase page, I got it with a package deal that had its own page. I'd searched the SCC product page and it didn't say anything about the module cost.

Not a problem, adding both is still chump change and you only have to spend it once.

Thanks for that pointer!

So for those of us who purchased the cart and these two additional modules, will that reduce the cost of the pro upgrade that much more? :D
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
