Is there any way to put a search feature into the shopping cart?

Not at this time, but we are looking into offering something like that in a future version.

OK thanks. It would be a really useful feature. Our shop now has quite a lot of items and although categorized it could do with a search. Maybe CC could come up with a way to integrate the flash search tool they sell.

Thanks for a quick reply.

I added Yahoo search to my site. http://www.porkyandbob.com
It works, but it doesn't seem to find model numbers that are in the descriptive text. That's really what I wanted it for.
I'm still searching for a better way.

Am I correct in understanding that an in-site search feature will only be in the pro version and then not in the first release? I know that the need for an in-site search has been brought up time and again both by me and other cart users.
Thanks

That is correct. We have a lot of things going into the 'Pro' version and I am not sure if this one will make it in the first release. However, I know it will be added soon after.
