Hi,

I would like to know if the "add to cart" buttons can be customized. Can I add my own image?

Thanks

No. :D

Not at this time, but hopefully in the future that is something they will add to it :)

The ability to change the add to cart buttons will be more likely to be a feature of Shopping Cart Designer in the future, rather than within the Cart Creator program itself.

As Jo Ann is always telling folks, "it is Designer that makes it pretty and Creator that makes it work." :D

Hi Vicki, if you really had to customize today, your only options at this moment would be to play around with the font size.

Btw, I thought it's worth a mention:
On my PC, the buttons are squarish shaped, and slightly beveled edged.
On my Mac, the buttons have this rounded corners and flat.
My tee shirt site http://www.teedojo.com, warmly and fuzzily done with SCC + SCD. I kinda like it even if I've yet to sell any shirts! Hah!

Catch me and say hi!. I don't bite, but I will help you with your website so you can kickstart your web presence today.

If they are just graphic images stored somewhere in the cart folders, you might be able simply to replace the offending graphic with one more to your taste; just make sure they're the same size.

Only problem is that Cart Creator overides any such changes when it uploads new products.

I suppose it would be feasible to manually change the icons, but apart from giving them exactly the same name as the ones that are being replaced, I have the feeling that if they were not exactly the same size in bytes, they would automatically get overwritten, as the program compares what is on your pc to what is on your web space and adds the differences.

Ah, okay. I never use the built-in publish features of any program, preferring to upload stuff myself, manually, so that hadn't occurred to me. Thanks!

ohhh ya Spinny, you'll definitely need to use the internal uploader on this one so it's always synced correctly, especially when Pro comes out with features that need to sync to the site and such. Not to mention the horrendous amount of files it has to upload in the beginning too. Might not be quite so easy to upload on your own with this one... well easy maybe, practical probably not lol

I'll take your word for it, haven't had to do a SC--yet.
