Categories list - any way to change...
We are new users and creating our first shopping cart site. We have quite the long list of categories and products in each category. Is there any way to set up the list of categories so that it uses the whole page, rather than just a long list that is on one side of the page, like in a table of rows and columns?
Hiya Gail,
I don't believe it can be done solely this way, I believe that the vertical side menu's all span down the page and the horizontal ones like I have on mine use a drop down that's pretty plain that spans down the page.
I do know that if you actually "click" the categories button you will get a page that has all your categories on it already without having to create the page, but unfortunately I don't know of any way to stop the drop down's on the menu's themselves.

I'm looking for how to change the pixel dimension of the cart pages via, not by changing the CSS, but in cart creator. The cart spreads out and goes past the edges of the website page. Seems the store page and the view cart page and all those pages should be sizable to 600px or 700px or 800px or 900px as needed. I have looked for where i can do that... haven't found it. I have a store home page I got to fit (some time back) and now the view cart page is too wide.

Hiya tmate,
This is not a possibility at this time. I don't know if CC plans to give us size customization of the entire site at some point or not, but right now it isn't. You have 2 sizes to choose from that are represented in the themes that are included with the program so you'll need to work with either of those 2 in order to use the SCC program. Hope that answers your question, and the on in the suggestions that you posted also.
It's a good idea for sure, just not available right now.

You have the cart in an iframe set at a certain width. The cart templates are a set width. So you either need to adjust the width of the iframe to accommodate the cart, or try adjusting the cart content padding or margins from within the designer program.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
