Is it possible to change the copyright notice? I'd like to change it to read like the other pages on the site....Copyright 2005-2010. Company Name. All Rights Reserved.
Is this possible?

I have changed/edited a couple of mine. Since mine are jpgs, I used paint to edit them...any photo editing program would work.
But yes, you can change your copyright notice however you want it to read.

I didn't find any place where I could edit the copyright. Can you tell me where in the SCC you go to make the change to the copyright notice?
Hi GB,
Unfortunately, there isn't a place in SCC or SCD where you can edit the copyright notice date. You could manually change it in on the PHP pages but editing those pages outside of SCC is not supported by CoffeeCup.

Thanks Monica. Can this be done with the pro version?
Hey Monica!
Is it still not possible to remove the Copyright at the bottom? It's unnecessary when we can put it in the footer on our own.
Thanks!

That is still not a feature in the software yet. It is something we are considering but have not made any final decisions on.

Cool -- it just seems unnecessary when we can totally mod the footer to have anything we want in there. Could probably just remove it from the code and then have it in the footer in the cart as default when someone creates a new shop in the software.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I think one of the problems, is that it creates the impression of it being a totally new site every year, rather than an established business. I would like it to be more along the lines of copyright (from user defined) to current. This is important where shops have products that could be subject to others infringing their product copyrights.
The workaround I use at the moment is to have separate copyright notices on my product images and on other pages within my sites.

I just posted an update to Shopping Cart Creator Basic and Pro which now has an option to remove the copyright from the footer.

Download build 3785 for this new feature.
