I have been considering the workaround you suggest. I will need to do something like this in order to sell product effectively. The big drawback I see is that folk expect ease and facility when shopping online. I gotta find a way to meet that expectation as soon as possible.

The trash blog is just a regular transparent blogger template which I add my backgrounds to now and again. In much the same way you can do with the cc shopping cart and those backgrounds I am offering in the blog. For those who have one of the cart design applications, they are so simple to install without having to "hack and crack"!!!
I have a couple of other blogs on blogger which were personal builds in html and css uploaded by me and which don't rely on just a fancy background.

Thanks, Janys. They are mine. As you may have gathered, I resist coloring inside the line. Since I am not an artist (read: cannot create the lines), I have really enjoyed coloring since I learned how pretty the picture when I respect the lines the artist drew.

Hi, I have a problem, I would like the sale tax (GST) added to the sum of the product and the freight. At present it only works it on the product where as in my accounting program Quick books I need to add the freight on to the product then work out the GST. Would like the program to be uniform with my invoicing. Any suggestions, as at present it is a real pain when doing the invoice. You people on the other side of the world must do it different.

Just a thought...if its not possible to do it on both ...a work-around could be to factor in the GST on the freight before hand.. It would however be a problem then for those that don't need to pay GST.

I need to return shoppers to a different page than the page to which SCC defaults. How do I do this?

I have created the shopping cart with CCSCC. I have published the cart to http://www.GetintheGameStore.com . I have created a web page to house the Custom Options Form created in Web Form Builder. My test product works in every aspect. The Paypal button internal to CCSCC defaults to http://www.GetintheGameStore.com/blahblahblah. which is CCSCC's internal default. I need to know how to make it return to http://www.GetintheGameStore.com/return_page.html .

Unfortuantely that is not possible. You need to return to the pages Shopping Cart Creator generates or the cart will not automatically empty. Also with the release of SCC Pro, it will be more important to return to site so that the inventory management works.

I am still having a problem with my GST tax. There is one amount for the product and I cut out the handling amount and put one amount for freight. Under taxes I put 12.5% for Merchandise and 12.5% for freight because my accounting program works the GST out on the sum of product and freight. Now instead of the GST coming to $2.81 in one particular case it is throwing it up as $4.06 . I have gone over the program so many times so could some one offer me an answer to what I am doing wrong. My page is http://www.havelock.net.nz/boatstuffNZ.htm In the tax section why is there 3 zeros after the tax amount. Instead of the tax showing as 12.5% It put it in as 12.5000%. Why is it written like that. Like the amount in my tax calculation is almost double.

Scott, I do not need an inventory control feature. I need to provide customization options to my customers. I tried:

Placing a CC Web Form in each product detail page via the html button provided in CC SCC
Placing a CC Web Form on the CC SCC shopping cart page.
The workaround suggested by other CC users to create a return page for my form.

Each and every time I ran into a wall and asked CC support for assistance making your product work for me, I was told "Unfortunately, "blah blah blah.

I asked for a list of the folders and files CC SCC uses to house the functions of the shopping cart so I could (AT MY OWN RISK) alter the software that I purchased to make my life easier so that it would do what my particular products require.

Once again, "Unfortunately," blah, blah, blah. Two months into this project, I have been unable to create a functioning website "in 30 minutes, really".

Help me make this wonderful software work for me. I mean... Make yourself happy by spoiling me as your website claims. Or refund me.

I believe this request to be reasonable and fairly well-mannered.
