Hello everyone. 1st post. :)

First off, I just want to say I love the Shopping Cart Creator, and Designer Pro that I purchased a few days ago. I have managed to publish a shopping cart site to the web and would like to add my site to my Google Webmaster account.

I have other sites that I have added to my Google Webmaster account, but I don't know how to put the html code into the Shopping Cart creator. My other sites were built with different software that I could paste code in to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, another quick question that's unrelated. Can you increase the size of the images on the detail page screen, or are they always a default size.

Thank you!

Hi
You can insert the Google code in pages details.
Inside the page tabs you insert the Html code ( [[[ google code ]]] ).
It's the way I do.

Okay thanks. I just got the verification code from google for this site, and opened the add URL on the home page, dropped the code in, and previewed. I don't see the code there (which is what I want), so I guess it was that easy. :D

Thanks, will publish now and see if google is my friend.

Update: No, it couldn't verify. Tried it on the Home Page, before & after the text.

I received this message:

Less than a minute ago
7/16/10 3:46:38 PM UTC Meta tag Verification failed. We couldn't find the verification meta tag.

Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site's home page. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section.

Oh yes, sorry that's want I meant and what I did. My brains are just a bit fried from adding products.

I did it using the add HTML, but it didn't work.

Strange because I'm using a lot of code from google, statcounter, sitemeter and is working.

See this page (experimental page with beta program): http://www.jimmythesailor.com/shop_coins/Contactos.php
You can see sitemeter logo on bottom page
(this beta is a little different)
At home I will test in other pc and return here with more accurate data.

Thanks Jimmy the sailor.

I opted for the "upload the file" option on this occasion until I can learn more about the Shopping cart creator. It's now verified. I will check out your website as there are other things I want to do at a later stage that involve similar processes.

Thanks!

I really like your site Jimmy. How did you get the search box? I really like that feature, and it works very nicely on your site.

I agree, Jimmy's site is neat. I think he has the search and sub-category features as he's using the beta SCC rather then the standard version most of us have. I'm eagerly awaiting two things:
o The Rapture
o The release of the SCC Pro

Given the state of our planet, I'm tempted to bet on the Rapture.

That said and back to the every day world, the Pro version is coming out soon and will, IMO, be super!

So will a search box be available in the new Shopping Cart Pro version? If so, sign me up and I just bought the shopping cart creator! :D

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
