Hi Terry,

Can you link us to the page where the problem is? We'll take a closer look to figure out what the issue at hand is, then let you know how to fix it. Thanks!

I fiddled around with the header settings in Designer but couldn't get rid of the "Jersey Boys" text without shrinking it so small that the header is quite narrow and out of context with the rest of the site. I still think the Jersey Boys text is still there.

Here's the page: www.liminalmoments.net/shop/

Thanks for your time.

Hiya Terry,

I don't think the Jersey Boys really goes away in the Designer, it's just a placeholder for where your shop page names will show up in your theme, the Jersey Boys doesn't show up in the Shopping Cart Creator itself, it's just a generic name to show "how" the page names will look when using the theme, but the content will still be your own cart content not the designer content.

This means if you shrink that name down in the designer, it's going to not be showing your page names correctly in your theme either. Hope that makes sense lol

I understand about the placeholder business. I just doesn't go away when I publish to the server.
There are still letters over the first part of the logo in the header.

Hi Terry, if you left click and highlight that area of your header you'll see it says 'new shop' rather than 'jersey boys'. Just go into general Shop Settings in SCC and remove the default 'New Shop' from the 'shop name' field, leaving the field blank, that should solve your problem. cheers, Steven

Thanks for the input!
That worked except oops now the header is gone completely.
Maybe I'll just start over and reconstruct everything.

Ok so when I fill in a small word in the shop name, the header returns but the footer now contains copyright 2010 word. More experimentation is in order!

In Shopping Cart Designer maker the Jersey Boys text the same color as your header background...which looks black to me and then it won't show in your header but will still show in the copyright in the footer.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

It looks like one cannot remove the letters in the header or the links in the footer. Hopefully the upcoming Pro version will remedy this. I would like the shop to fit into the existing site as fluidly as possible.
Also doesn't look like there's access to any HTML to remove elements.
I'll wait and see about the Pro version unless any other suggestions come up.
Thank you to all for your time and input !!
