OK, so I tried it on another account, different host, same issue. Anyone else get their error resolved?

I have been working with Neil's cart and I had him send me all his API information. When I put it into my cart and on my server, it worked, no errors.

I think the issue maybe something with how some of you are uploading. I uploaded directly through the software. For those having the problems, are you uploading in a different way?

By the way, Neil? Did you ever get yours working, or is this something that simply only works from CoffeeCup computers?

If anyone want's to e-mail me all 3 API strings to scott@coffeecup.com and I can also try them here too. Please send them as text (no screen shots) directly to scott@coffeecup.com and I will see if I can re-create any of the problems.

Scott, I found that cURL wasn't enabled automatically at Hostgator. They say the path to that is: The path to cURL is /usr/bin/curl. They state, in their FAQ, that it isn't automatically enabled and that you have to request it. They enabled that, and I still have the same error. They are now working with my problem to see if it's something they can fix on their end. I'll let you know when I get a final result from them.

I have never heard of a hosting company making that an optional item that you have to request. Do let us know what they find. I am pretty sure it is not an issue with our scripts as it works find on our testing accounts.

Note, our testing accounts are not our own servers. We have multiple accounts with Go Daddy, 1&1 and 3IX and a few others.

They were able to go to my site and reproduce the error but the logs don't indicate what could be causing it. They referred me back to Paypal. Endless circle.

Our programmers are pretty sure it is still a misconfiguration of the cURL libraries on their server.

OK, so here's a question. Before this I had a PayPal button on my site where the visitor could click on it and go straight to PayPal with no issues. Other than passing data to PayPal, what is different?

I've also tried this using JotForm, which also passes data to PayPal and their solution works just fine. It's limited in other ways, so I would prefer to have this one working.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
