How do you get PayPal to tell you...

After tweaking the site and the delivery charges etc i made a couple of purchases to test the whole thing out, and WOW, I think things are going well. If I hadn't made my own purchase for which I got a notification that I had made a payment somewhere thru Paypal, I as the vendor would never have known.

We can only chase our sales by logging into our PayPal account - Is there something I haven't turned on?

PayPal should automatically email you when a payment is made describing the transaction.

At paypal under your payment summary there is an item for notification...you have to turn that on to get them to send you a notice. They also like you to build a page on your site that the buyer is sent to with a big thank you.

Check your spam mail. At first my payment notices were ending up in the spam folder. I had to set my spam filter to allow things from PayPal.

:D:D Building web sites does that to you Bob :D:D

Look under your profile tab in PayPal and you should find one something along the lines of email notifications.

It may be that you need to add a zero in front of the seven digit bank code. Try contacting PayPal customer support for assistance Bob, as they are usually very good with technical help.

Sorry Will, Still can't find it. Doesn't appear to be under profile. I have looked everywhere. This account # with the banking has got me stomped too. My account # is 7 digits-003 I can't really add a zero to the number as it would be incorrect. I will phone my bank this morning. This shopping cart is a real challenge. Unless the money side of it works then it is a waste of time.

Every country has slightly different versions of PayPal for its home user base. It will be around in there somewhere though Bob. If you contact PayPal customer support direct through your PayPal console, they will be able to help you out.

PayPal has millions of account holders worldwide, so it certainly works ok. :|
