Hey everyone,

I'm new to this shopping cart creator program and basically I'm working on a tourism site that want to sell tickets online. So I wouuld have a heading
"double-decker tour" a picture and short description stating what the tour is
and underneath that I would want to have it so there differents prices for that tour depending on if your a

student / adult / senior...etc

e.g.

adults 37.50
kids 20.00
seniors 30.00
students 25.00

The user gets to pick the amount of tickets they want like a drop down menu.

Is it possible to do this in shopping cart creator?

Hiya drizzy,

In the current Basic version of SCC that is not possible, but....

all is not lost as the new Pro version is about to be released in the next week or 2 from what we've been seeing on the forums, and that feature is supposed to be one added to that at some point. I don't know if it will be in it right away or not as they haven't given us a full list of coming features yet, but I'm thinking it most likely will be.

Also one of the nice things about upgrading is that they've given us the option to pay the difference between the 2 programs to upgrade to the Pro version, so we don't have to pay full price to get a new program. That says a lot about CC I think, and I'm trying so hard to patiently wait for it to be released the day I have to leave for vacation again LOL which will be my luck, no doubt :P

no problem drizzy, we're all waiting on it same as you are :) Should be an awesome piece of software when it's finally released. Some time this past week they announced a couple weeks as it's release date, so we'll see what happens on it. Could be just for testing that day too so not sure what they have totally planned on it yet :)

Mmmmm. Personally I think Scott should release the new program before the development team all slink off to the pub at Christmas. :D Nothing more challenging than a drunken bunch of programmers. :)

Or we could release it while we are at the pub ;) That could make for an interesting release.....

"Pub".... you got pubs in the States... but have you got "real ale"? I reckon after a gallon of Batemans XXXB, Scott would be doing 75% introductory discounts and free upgrades. All the more reason to go for a pre-Christmas release!

lol Woody, I'm betting he'd be paying us to buy it :P And the free upgrades are already a given so that's no boost so he'd be giving us our next program free just for buying! :P

The price definable options will certainly extend the usability of cart creator, as will the other new features. Using cart creator to sell tickets just goes to show the wide diversity of potential uses for the program out there.

When some of us can finally wave goodbye to the likes of Zen and Cubecart forever, that will be an excuse for many of us to celebrate with a drink (or three). :)

The days of tedious form filling for customers, will soon be at an end. :D
