HTML?
Hi,
I am having a problem with HTML in custom pages.
I have attached 2 images.
The first is a preview of a stand alone page with formatting OK.
The second is the HTML transfered into a custom shop page.
There seems to be 3 problems
1 The right hand column is not aligned to top.
2. Should be size 1 text not size 2.
3. Graphic gaps where there should be smooth image.
I have checked the source code and both codes are identical.
Conclusion:
As all things are equal I think it has to be something to do with
"DOC TYPE"
Would be grateful if anyone has any other ideas.
Cheers,
Baz.

Scott,
Does the custom HTML recognize tables?
I have set up again with 1 x simple table, 2 x columns and the stuff is all over the place.
I have checked with HTML checker, and stand alone page is fine.

Baz.

I think this is important if you wish to customize your home shop page.
It is the first page your potential customers will see.
I have been working on this all evening and this is what I have found.
You can add tables (only one cell per table).
Have a look at mine. To mimic multiple cells I have aligned graphics and
added graphic border instead of CSS.
I have found quite a chunk of custom HTML not recognized.
If you have a look at mine, it is basically 1 table with 2 rows.
Its all done with smoke and mirrors.

I have found I am unable to add products to home page.
I was under the impression added products would line up underneath
any customization. Not so.
Baz.
Yeah, the HTML icon was really only designed for Flash object items. We didn't think people would be using tables and other types of code there, which is why you are having those issues. I am not too sure if we can have an immediate modification to that, but I will log it for a future enhancement item.

Thanks Scott,
With the single table / cell it seems to work fine.
Instead of using the feature products I have just added a
few products at the bottom linked in to product details.
I have tried it in several browsers and it looks OK.
May be too much to ask.
It would be great to just measure shop page area to fill, work
with CC HTML editor (within confines) to your hearts content, staying away from anything requiring header information, then copy and paste code using the HTML add in with the cart software.
As Arthur Daily would say "The world's your lobster".
