Items add to cart in Firefox but not...
I am using Shopping cart creator V3.7 Buld 2722 and a theme created with Shopping Cart Designer v3.7 Build 18 basic.
My site shop can be found direct at http://www.kilabitzzzshop.kilabyte.biz/
When I am in Firefox I can add items to the cart no problem.
But in IE8 it just goes to the shopping cart page when I click on add to cart but the cart is empty.
Not sure if I have a setting in IE that is wrong or not. My concern is that my customers are having the same problem and not able to buy from my shop if they are in IE.
Any ideas.

It works fine here for me in IE 8, so I bet your configuration on your computer is somehow blocking cookies. I would double check those settings.

Strange, as I have now tried it on a PC at the local college running Vista and IE8 and on a Laptop running XP and Vista (dual boot) with IE8 and get the same problem.
Firefox updates basket ok but IE8 and basket remains empty.
Does anyone know a bit of code, java etc, that I could drop in to the home page and give a warning if IE8 is not configured and working right for the cart.

Not being familiar with IE8 I am not certain if it has the capability to block cookies and if that setting is applied as default ?
There are lots of code snippets to check if cookies are enabled on a browser, try looking on hotscripts.com

I had this problem with IE8 with Magento, and then with SCC
both times i discovered it only happened when sent to shopping cart from my home page (now made with visual site designer)
If the link was made in target default
I changed this to same frame (self) and it cured the problem
Not sure if this is relevant in your case but someone else might understand why this worked.
And it was possibly my laptop settings, as my wifes pc running IE8 did not suffer the same way (so pc settings seem to cause problem)(so also other peoples pc's will suffer , so loss of sales regardless of cause)

I was able to add your products to cart using Chrome. I love your paintball background, but the white and green text were both hard for me to read on grey so I would recommend a darker text background. Geez, I'm getting old!

ShopTom,
Yes I see what you mean about the white and green. The colours were originally designed to be used in one of the Shopping cart standard theme's. Now I have played around with the theme and made my own, they do not work as well, so I will change it.
Thanks for the heads up.
Think I will also put a note on the Shopping cart page that if items are not adding they should use Firefox or Chrome (not an ideal solution I know, but really busy with other stuff at the moment!).

Updated it.
As well as changing the colours also changed the font to Verdana and upped the font sizes by 1 pixel. That should hopefully make it easier for all to read.
