I apologize if this has been asked already, but I didn't see it in the forum search. I'm converting an older Cubecart site to SCC. Is there a way, in Creator 3.5, to make nested product categories. I need something like this:
Indian Teas
-Assam
-Darjeeling
-Nilgiri
China Teas
-Green
-Black
-White
Thanks all!

That would be subcategories and I don't believe they are supported. Try searching the forum for "subcategory".
Hi
I too require subcategories
Is there a way of doing this?

I believe sub categories may well be coming in the Pro version of the Cart.

Set up your shop with normal categories and when the pro version arrives, create sub categories, then move the copy and paste the products.
Sorry can't help.

As I understand it both sub-categories and item control identifiers will be available with Pro. IMO, these are absolutely essential for a shopping cart. Other features such as a much needed search feature will be added in later versions. Hopefully shipping discounts and more will eventually be added.
Thar said, the standard version offers lots for a small price. I expect it to only get better and better.

All my items are costed out to include postage so i also urgently need to add discounts for multiple items (shipping discounts would be a way of doing this)
Also subcategories would make my shop much more manageable.

Yes that is correct, sub-categories will be a part of the 'Pro version" along with the ability to add coupon codes. We are still shooting for this release later this year.
