Not adding to cart - Page 1 - Post ID...

I just went to test my store, well when I go to add a item to the cart, it simply states that the cart is empty and will not allow adding to the cart at all. Anybody else ever have this issue and can give me a hand in figuring this out?

Are you testing in Preview or a live store?
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

live store and I'm getting with my server tech right now to see if the php sessions are even enabled

Okay. Can you let us know how you go? Hopefully that will fix it...if not we will have to put our thinking caps on :)

yes they fixed it, now if I could only figure out the shipping calculator entirely

Excellent! Great to hear.

Have a play with the shipping and I'm sure you will work it out. The best way to learn I reckon is to try things out :)

OK I'm having the same problem but my Tech support wasnt any help. Not sure whats going on but items are not adding to cart. www.donaanadivers.com/shop Any suggestions before I move fwd adding the rest of my shop?

Hiya Kelly,

I would say get with your Tech Support again if they aren't being helpful and checking that for you, unless you mean that they checked it and it is already setup? Guess we need more info to know how to help you better. I did try your shop and it definitely has an issue on the cart so let us know what your Tech Support of your server says about it.

Hi Kelly. Yep your shop definitely isn't adding items to the cart. One of two things is likely to be the cause of this. Your shop either hasn't uploaded properly, or something on your web hosting isn't enabled.

First of all try re-uploading your shop and see if that cures things. Remember to switch off any firewalls when uploading.

PHP Sessions are not enabled on your server. Contact your hosting provider and they should be able to enable this for you:
