Wow in August of 2002 I put together this site to sell my friends Art work
I searched for a shopping cart they were all ether too expensive, too limited or too difficult.
I wound up making PayPal buy it now buttons for each item. Now I've found my shopping cart thanks.

Hi All
You can see an early draft here of a new shop. www.shopcoffee.jaz-d.com/ and I'd be very interested in any feedback.

I'm a newbie playing with settings and wanted a banner accross the top.
I saw that you can slice a picture in two and change logo and header_bg files.
Then I came across that it seems if you make a big file (mine is 920 x 128) and replace the logo its spills across and looks fine. I also deleted the header file although I don't think this is necessary.
Are there any problems to doing this and is there any way I could stop it being changed on upload or a way of integrating into the upload.
I've tried making the new "logo" file write protect with ftp on the server but CC still changes it. Alternatively is there a way that a fairly novice customer could replace the file after he has changed prices.
I was thinking maybe a small script or something he could execute on the server to rechange the file back. Or maybe a change in the CC software to stop uploading this file????
BTW I liked AD's shop http://www.hairsandgracesextensions.co. … /index.php which has similar concepts to mine.
Perhaps AD if she reads this can enlighten us a bit. I see with her style she has changed "hero_bg.png" for her new picture and has also changed some text. I assume she has the same publish problems as me.
Its always useful to know where the changes are done.

i cant get anything to save in the shopping cart.

the cart shows up, you can see each item, but once you click add to cart, you get the message, no items are in your cart. whats my problem?

I just added a cute pup to my cart and it added it fine. I liked her so much, I added her sister Firefox 3.0.7

I tried in with IE 7 and it was a no go.
