Hello all
This is my first post after downloading the Shopping Cart Creator on tuesday and I've spent a lot of time since creating my shop It's very addictive
I've really enjoyed working on my shop and I've really enjoyed reading through this thread for inspiration! There's a lot of beautiful shops in here and I've "stolen" a lot of good ideas
Anyway, here's my shop:
http://www.papirskilte.dk/
I sell paper signs, pictures and posters
My first language is not english (it's danish) so please don't hesitate to let me know if any of the text is not "proper english". I would really appreciate it!
My shop is made with the "I do" template....but with a few subtle changes

Hi everybody!
I'm still in the process of adding products to all of my store categories. I also have to write the policies and limitations for the site. Besides that page, I already have pages for Tributes and for Contact Us.
Here is the link to my store:

I hope to be open for business around the end of August.

To clarify what I said in the previous post... you can have no more than 1500 products in total.
Here is a site using a pre-existing template that came with SCC3.5 that i have altered to suit the site but i am having display issues with IE7 but not IE8 and Firefox.
IE7 issues - The top navigation is not where its supposed to be and the items all display down as one column and some very strange things going on in the Cart with redraw issues of the background plate.
To see how its supposed to look - check it out with Firefox....
Any ideas People would be greatly appreciated - champing at the bit for the Cart Styler so that it will hopefully fix this issue ???????

I've never seen "jewelry" spelled "jewellery" before, so I'm guessing it is an English spelling as you've guessed. I looked both words up in the dictionary to be sure
Jewelry: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/jewelry
Jewellery: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/jewellery

Nice looking site, clean and easy to find items as they are very clear.
One point though, jewelry is not spelt that way usually. have you spelt it that way intentionally as it is the same everywhere?
It is usually spelt jewellery so really jumped out at me as wrong (or is this just an English way of spelling it or something?).

I'm still adding content, copy, etc.
I used the "tie a ribbon" theme and modified 4 files:
styler.css
product.inc.php
nav_bg.jpg
body_bg.jpg
Thanks,
Albert

Little clarity on THAT word Jewellery (jewelry)
In UK we call it jewellery and if you try to find any templates for websites, ie joomla etc. they all say jewelry
When doing key words i tend to put in jewellery, jewelery, jewelry
But to make matters worse i used to own, in UK 2 jewellery shops, rather than jewellers shops
And as i was the only craftsman in store so my shop had a sign which said jeweller ,,as there was only one of me.
Hope that clears things up a little

Here in the UK we also spell colour with a 'u', tyre with a 'y' etc. A lot of the former British colonies also adopt the same spelling.
Where it all becomes important, is allowing for alternative spellings in meta tags. Although Google and the like will often 'have a guess', it's possible to miss out on a massive market with your shops.
