Yes, I know, I used a pain in the butt ftp program. I would rather just use the publish function in Coffee cup.

I've been struggling really bad with my issues:
First it would stop in the middle of the upload process.

Second it would say:an error occured when sending a custom quote
command to the remote server error is 400 or higher.

Third i can see some files in my cpanel but can't get them to appear
on my website.Only the Index.html does.
I'm very desperate and need some help asap.
Thanx

Same thing, I have to log in through ftp, delete all the files on the server, for the publish feature to not get stuck on testing connection... calculating synchronization

In order to publish via FTP (because my Shopping Cart program freezes during publishing every time also), do I have to always go to File, Export, Export Shop for Upload? This is annoying because it renames the folder, and I have to delete the entire shop (the old one) and rename the new folder so it matches the previous folder name when I exported.

Or, can I move my entire folder where the cart is into the web site's folder, and then just publish the web site using its built-in ftp program?

Thanks!

I've encountered the same problem with SCC 3.8 running on Windows 7. The Publish function runs for about 10 minutes and then freezes. I tried downloading a new copy of SCC and reinstalling it and the same thing happened.

I finally used Firefox FTP to upload the exported cart (I agree with Toni, the export function could be streamlined) and with the exact same server settings it worked in about 3 minutes. I think something has to be wrong with the Publish function.

Same problem as everybody else here. I am unable to publish.

1. URL to your Website oregonpaintball.com/shop/
2. Operating System you are using: WINDOWS XP
3. Version of the application: 3.8 BUILD 3863
4. Are you using the trial or registered version
5. What specific steps have you taken to create this issue?: USED YOUR PROGRAM
6. Does it occur every time? YES
7. Can you recreate this on another computer?DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER

Generating shop usually fails the first 2 times "FAILED WHILE SAVING PRODUCTS"

Then it cycles through the sync process the I get the following message"COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE SERVER. SORRY, THE ACTION YOU ARE TRYING TO COMPLETE HAS TIMED OUT"

I am using the same info I use with File Zilla and FZ connects with no issues. I tried to expot the files direct but nothing works.
