Product Page Title - Can't use with...

I have both Shopping Cart & Flash Website Search. The Shopping Cart software makes the Product Page title equal to the store name. All pages have the same title. When Flash Website Search scans the product pages, all the results of the search will be returned as the store name. You can't use the two software programs together.

How can I change the Product Page title to the Product name?

If you need a solution now, create a storefront for your store. The storefront consists of a single html page that advertises what you have in your store. If you embed the flash search on that and begin with that in your search, then the search function works great.

As Eric points out, just create another page. I think people are tending to forget that a store gets loaded onto a server where you have - one would hope - a fair amount of storage space on the server to be able to upload other pages with various content such as the search function... etc.etc. It doesn't have to be the opening page on your store of course. Just put the store into its own folder and all the rest outside so that you can use a different index page as a home page for the rest of your site.

Is there step by step directions available? Does this involve opening a HTML window in a CCSC page? If so would I run into the same limit on characters that I did when adding a sitemap to my cart?
Thanks

Sally,

Here is an example of a store I built using this technique:

www.planetdvr.com

The first page you come to is html and the rest of the site is the shopping cart. I merely matched the html design with the shopping cart design to make a seamless transition from a static page to a shopping cart page. You will notice the search function on the first page.

Eric, I did a search on lock and got a number of links. The sitemap link worked but on the rest i got Oops! This link appears to be broken.
Suggestions:
•Go to www.planetdvr.com
•Go to sitemap www.planetdvr.com/sitemap.html
•Search www.planetdvr.com for accessories index
•Search on Google:

Thanks for the example, your site looks great.
