Hello,
Is there a way to remove the "Shopping Cart Software by CoffeeCup Software" Link that shows on the lower left hand corner of the shopping cart after its created? I purchased the registered version.
Thanks,
Brent

Hi Brent
That is part of the Shopping Cart application and cannot be removed at this time.

Appreciate Coffee Cup wants to get the word out about the cart but it would be nice to have their link removed from the registered versions. Thanks.
I will definitely make note of your suggestion.

Plus one
At the risk of appearing ungrateful I agree with this. While I can go through the xml template and remove the offending line, it is a lot of trouble and would be very Christian of CoffeeCup to simply add an option in the software to 'add made by CoffeeCup' link to finished page for those who 'really' want to advertise the software they have paid for.
This is the one thing I have never really warmed up to with CoffeeCup software; while there is the company's desire to get the name out there (and come on, let's face it, with that many million users it is already out there) I think if people have paid in-full for the software there should be no plugs, ads or relentless pressure to buy other software. Nearly every CC title I have has links filling menus to download this or buy that service.
Give us some credit; we know you sell other software and if we wanted it, we know where to look for it.
Sorry, just my 2 cents worth.
Dave.

Hi
If CoffeeCup wants to maintain the link at least put the "_blank" option to make the new page do not replace our shopping cart.
Regards
Jimmy

Unfortunately that will keep the pages from being valid XHTML, though
I know that's silly, but that's XHTML sees target="_blank... as invalid XHTML

I agree with these folks. Once you pay for the registered version, all the "free advertising" should be removed.
And all the CC programs should stop with the I love Coofee Cup and cluttered menus with links to buy more products. It's crap and nobody else does this.

Tom,
The most recent updates form CoffeeCup have removed the folder with extra links.
