I've dug through the forum and this one I haven't found.

I uploaded a jewelry website but the background images for the themes,products and even the little credit card icons on the shopping cart checkout page don't show up. I can however use a BMP image for a product and it works.

I'm using SCC 3.7 build 2751 (registered)
I have tried two machines , Vista and XP
Themes that I have tried: Ruby,Stone Cold and Spread Your Wings
I have deleted the previous version of SCC and installed the newest version. Then cleaned off the directory on my server and done a fresh upload with SCC with no luck then cleared it again and done a FTP upload with DirectFTP 6.6

The only thing left would be PHP error on my server? (Dreamhost)

I started out new and just tossed some random stuff up there right now

oh...and now I see it works on Opera but not Firefox 3.5 or Google Chrome...go figure

Have you checked to make sure all the images that you're using for your theme are uploaded? Also which theme is it you are using so we can test it ourselves too and also can look in your code to see if they are there or not.

Yea, very interesting. I don't think I have seen this problem yet. The theme you are using would be very helpful. Also, are you uploading from the internal FTP or are you doing the uploading yourself from an external one? If you have from the internal one, then I would suggest doing a support ticket since it would be a software issue (which I think their first suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall again).

By the way you should only do uploading in SCC from the internal FTP.

Also what type of server are you using, windows or linux?

Two images are not uploaded (one is the logo) but the header pictures are there so not sure why they aren't showing. The View source doesn't give much info so we may need to call Scott on this one...

The theme is the one with the birds flying... sorry the name escapes me

my ISP is running a Debian, a version of Linux

I uploaded to www.thebeadaddiction.com with the theme "spread your wings" and it works on Opera 10.1 on Vista using scc for uploading

I also uploaded to www.thebeadaddiction.com/store/ with the theme "stone cold" and it works on 10.1 on Vista using scc for uploading

I already had the problem in the root directory when I uploaded to the /store/ directory so the duplicate installation isn't the issue

neither work on Firefox 3.5 nor IE 7.0 running on Vista and it doesn't work on Firefox 3.0, IE 8 or the newest version of Opera 10.10

I'll be doing a file comparison tonight but that shouldn't be a issue since it does work on Opera

syntax error on the Htaccess file was blocking the images.

good to hear PDX, I hate it when syntax errors get in the way, they are not always that easy to find lol, good job

This just shows you have easy things can get hosed and it doesn't have to do anything with our software at all
