Want your larger thumbnails to be only pictures and not white background?

Just make sure that when you upload your photos that you keep them square shaped. Example: 400pxl x 400pxl. This way when the thumbnail is generated it does not have to put a background on it to keep the portions correct so that the photo is not distorted.

Hi, I have build 7775 and the default css file does not have the exact line you quote - it does have however have a line that looks very close - .scs_productlist .scs_productlist_item .scs_thumbnail_image{width:100px;}

However after I changed the value to 200px and uploaded it - it made absolutely no differnce - the size was still 100px

Any ideas please?

Does this only work in designer? I have Creator, I switched to 210px, and no changes showed up. Any ideas?

Can anyone give me the correct line I have to look for to make my images larger on the shop home page? I did this before but I cannot find the post anywhere. I remember changing it to 210px but I tried all last night and couldn't get them any larger.

Also, when you upload different categories how come on the website nothing divides them? Is this a setting I am missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hiya Carlos,

Do you have the Shopping Cart Designer Pro program? That's where you'd edit your image slot sizes. I don't know if the basic version of the cart has that option or if it's just the Shopping Cart Creator Pro that has it. Are you using Basic or Pro version of the Cart software?

I have the first version not the pro version. I read a post before here like 2 years ago I would say that showed you how to edit the default.css file in your store and change the 100px to 210px which made your pictures larger. I did it in the past but I have a new store and I cannot do it again.There is a similar post I found but it has the wrong line.

Ah I see, well hmm hopefully someone will have an answer, I would suggest keep searching the forums till someone comes up with one for you as I have not edited any files for the shop system at all manually. Now that those are features in the Pro version it's so much easier that way than messing with the files :)
