Have just thought of a question.
Will the new version have the option to put a category list on the home page
without it saying add to cart next to each one?
I know you can choose an item from each category to put there but it always has the add to cart next to it - if customers don't click on the picture they miss everything in that category.
Hope I'm making sense

No it will not. Any item listed will always have the "add to cart" next to it.

Why is this then?
Why can't there be a choice not to have any images on that first page? Customers get very confused and often miss the other items in a certain category thinking that you only sell the one listed on the home page.
Or couldn't the 'add to cart' and the price tag icons on the home page be edited in some way?

As my use would be for one off items. If the add to cart buttons could be turned off it would be perfect for me even the current version.
I am hoping that a simple inventry system could be added. I have solved it for starters but it is labour intensive. I have trialed the original version and could insert my own payment buttons.
I have started populating my site at http://mrtworld.com I am hoping that you can offer me what I am after before I go to far down the track I am on.
My use is a online garage sale of one off items. I solved the inventory of one only in a simplistic manner with a bit of php. I am quite prepared to share with CC if it could be incorporated somehow. Not that I believe I am that good at these things. Horses for courses I am afraid.
I really do like CC's Form Builder for it's ease of use and professional output. That is why I am so keen to get on board.
The present concept of the shopping cart software is fantastic but in my case $50 is doable, additional modules is a bit over the top for me at least.
I will keep coming back hoping to get what I want.
I tried the Zen cart but it was overkill for me so I dunped it.
Also I never thought of changing the name of a submit button and redirecting. so this visit to the forums certainly has given me a winner and an idea. There is more than one way to skin a cat. How I love my form builder.

Hello,
I wonder if you could just add the shipping cost to the price of the item
and say price includes shipping.
Cheers,
Baz.

That is just how the software was designed. For every 1 person who wants it the way you would like, I can find 2 who want it the other way. Eventually we will probably add an option for it. We just want to be careful because all of these options make the program just that more complex and our goal it to make easy to use software.

Sure, you can do that in 3.1. Just don't configure any shipping then. In your long description add some text like "Price includes all shipping costs".
