I am a new CC user and probably nervous. I have begun creating a web store with Shopping Cart Creator. I have most everything configured except for product entry ( several hundred products ).

I know CC is about to unveil an update that allows for weight / zip code based shipping ~ which I really need for my stores.

If I work ahead and enter product in the meantime, will that data be OK when the new update becomes available? Since I don't have a store online now, and have not uploaded one yet, I just don't know what to expect. I don't want to work way ahead if I might loose product info.

Any thoughts or experience based advice is most welcome!

It is my understanding that shops created with the standard SCC will be able to be opened and updated with SCC PRO.

All you will need to do is open your shop in the Pro version. Everything will port over perfectly.
