My new project involves setting up a new website to showcase my books. Let's call it (DEH)
The first folder will contain my existing book website (DWB)
The second folder will contain a new website yet to be developed. (TW)

The index page of DEH will have the navigation headings, followed by 3 in-line images.
The first image will be a book cover link to the folder of (DWB) containing the full website of the book.
The second image will be a link to the folder of (TW) containing the full website of that book.
The third image will be the navigation of other areas of the main website, (DEH)

My question is; if I place the 2 folders under the main home directory, (/home/DEH), should they have a sub-directory (/DWB/Public_html_DWB) and (TW/Public_html_TW) ?

Create a new project Index page maybe as a profile showng what you do (not just being an author)

Do other pages for the new book TW in that project simply make internal links to those pages from the index page

You already have your DWB book page website publshed so just set up an absolute link to it (https XXX.com/index.html) default target=self (more secure) somewhere in your new project, (button or image link )no need to import it into your new project.

I had thought of that for the DWB and your comments reinforce that idea.
Yes, your idea is much cleaner way to go.
The new book reached #15 on Amazon best sellers BTW.
