I to have issues.....The main css shows this for an example:
body > .row.footer-row {
padding-bottom: 0;
max-width: none;
background-color: #000;
background-image: url(http://rsd.coffeecup.com/storage/themes … ropped.jpg);
background-size: cover;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}

I use my own server and even after changing the code the image display fails.

That is easily done within RSD without having to make any custom CSS changes. Here is how:

1. First add your image by clicking the Resource Toolbar Icon.
2. Select any image in the theme and then go to the Design Tab. Under the Image drop down select Local Image and the Resource library will now appear.
3. Select your image and click Select.

That is it. Easy as 1-2-3. ;)

If you want to change images for any background, the process is pretty much the same as well. To change the background image, just go to the Design Tab for any Row, Column or the Grid and scroll down to Background and expand that. Under Image, change the drop down to Resource and select the image added in Step 1 above.

Images for our themes are simply stored on S-Drive to make them easy to work with. With just a few small steps, you can easily customize them to use your own.

We are using our own servers / sdrive and so can you. Images can be located anywhere online. Just find the element that contains the background image and link any image you want from any location or include it in the project file and auto-upload it to our servers or export and upload it to yours.

If that does not work for you Rick for some reason, let us know!

Bob,
Will there be work around.
I already have plenty of storage where my sites are hosted.

Not sure I understand what you need the work around for Alan, sorry. These images can be placed anywhere on the web, including your own servers.

To replace the images simply select the row the image is placed in and go to the background section on the design pane. There you can swap them out for other background images

If you get me the URL to an image you want to use or the image itself, I can update the theme file if that helps...
