They are background images, with a column using semi-transparent background on top of them. The inspector pane might help here too. You can select each element and see the applied styles below, including background (image) styles. I mean, I can tell you exactly where they are...but finding them yourself will serve you better long term ;)

Hi Bob,
I understand what you mean about "Finding them yourself [myself] will serve you [me] better in the long term", and normally that would be the case, but I've tried every element on the coast theme and apart from the very topmost 'Row' element displaying a box to change the background image, nothing else I've tried [and tried, and tried] shows a up a background image box for the other images. No luck whatsoever finding the other elusive image boxes. There's only so many hours you can spend trying every intuitive search before the eyes glaze over and you begin t lose the will to live :).

Please, please put me out of my misery and tell me where oh where are exactly are these other background image changing boxes hiding in this theme. C'mon, stop teasing me. :)

As they say, a picture says a 1000 words. ;)

Just select the Row and then go to the Design Tab and then scroll down to Background. When you expand that, you can see a background image has been applied.

Hi Scott,

That was the one and only image box that I had found (as per my post above). But where oh where are those other elusive static background and the last scrolling image (sunset) boxes. If you can find them without help [no cheating now], I'll buy you a pitcher of beer next time you're in the UK!

A pitcher of beer, I am gonna jump in here real quick :P

The other images work the same as the one you found, simply select the row the image is placed in and go to the background section on the design pane. There you can change / update them.

Just like Bob said, simply select the row the image is on and then go to the Design Tab. Here you will see the image listed under Background. It really is impossible to miss! :)

Yaaaaay! Found it at last. Unfortunately, without any help or tut files, I have been looking for a tab that said 'Row' all this time - just like the topmost tab is. I didn't realise (and no one said) that you have to click on the 'Column' tabs and change the tab, using the pull-down menu, from 'Column' to 'Row' THEN, and only then, does the Image box appear. Phew!

So your still good for that pitcher of beer when you're in town :)

I'm only struggling with my menu links now. They seem to t5ake on a life of their own when you move the slider. Don't like it. Is there a way I can have a menu in a static band that stays at the at the top of the page and allows everything below to scroll under it? I agree with one of the other posts who says he doesn't like websites where you have to keep scrolling up or down the page to find the menu in order to select another page link.

That's good feedback! We're so used to working with RLM/RED/RSD that we did not think to point that part out...

Yes, for the row set the position to 'fixed'. You also might need to increase the z-index. We plan to have a theme out this week that using a fixed menu bar.

I followed th directions on how to change the header-cover image in The Coast template & I was successful putting my own image in. However, it did not replace the image that is already there. It simply put it on top of the image.
You can not see this in the largest breakpoint, but as you slide, the original image appears under my image.
How do I completely remove the image that came with the template?

Leet me show in a different way. A picture speaks a 1000 words:

As you can see I replaced the original image and changed the size to "cover". It worked well...
But, when I changed the size to contain, the original image is still beneath the image I replaced it with. You can see this in screen shot below. how do I remove the original image?

@Fisherman: I've been trying to figure that one out as well.
