Using RSD in the configuration of the design background, how do I configure a full screen graphic image ( i.e. img2.png file).

Make sure the image you want to use is in the project Resources
Select the Grid and go to properties
Go to background
Change Image to Resource and select the image you want to use
Change the Size setting to cover
Select the Grid and go to properties
Go to background
Change Image to Resource and select the image you want to use
Change the Size setting to cover

I looked at your screenshot. Here's the problem. You have an image selected and not the grid.

The background image must be applied to the grid. Here's how:
Select the Grid and go to properties
Change Apply to: Type
Go to background section
Change Image to: Resource
Select the image you want to use from your resources
Change the Size setting to: Cover

I'm unable to change the selected container: Type to the Grid selection, i.e., RSD => Designer => Element => Type => Grid
