Hi all,

I really need some help on how to use the preview; upon its activation I receive this error message (see attached), and I cannot seem to have a way around it. How do I re-enble the functionality?

Thanks a lot!

It seems that you are trying to upload to CC's S-drive. You need to have a registered 'domain' there. When I say 'domain', I mean a space that you have given a name, like e.g. one of mine: mock-up.coffeecup.com. If you haven't got such a domain yet, you can register one, which is done under 'Services' on the main toolbar of the CC website.

If you already have a domain as described above, you go to the top toolbar in SD and find 'Settings' on the right side. Click on Publish, and you should find your domain listed. Make sure you have the correct login information, then select (click) the domain and press OK. After that, it should work nicely. You need to upload by clicking on Publish (the arrow pointing into a cloud) on the SD toolbar.

Hi again,

I think I've jumped to conclusions a bit too fast, so my reply is not exactly what you need. But I won't remove it, maybe you will need it later :D

What you are trying to do, is obviously previewing your work in a browser locally on your computer. The path mentioned in your error message seems a bit long though, and most of the slashes are the wrong way.
Questions: Where are you saving your project on your computer? And have you exported it and got a folder starting with the project name and then '_exported? Where is that folder on your computer? If I were you, I would save both the project and the exported folder on my desktop (others may have other preferences, but don't save them anywhere near the AppData/Local folder). Below is an example path for one of my projects:
file:///C:/Users/Inger%20Eik/AppData/Local/CoffeeCup%20Software/Site%20Designer/cache/23224/preview/index.html. Try to make yours look a bit like this (username of course different), and try to preview a page, not just an image.

Thanks a lot for your effort, however, I never really set up anything specifically, so I cannot understand how and why 'all of the sudden', I am unable to display the preview of the website, and why specifically I was asked to provide extra permission to access an image and folder that I was using moments ago. In other words I cannot detect what I changed in that respect.

When you click on the 'Preview on' button, you do not get to select a specific image, so this is something else I cannot understand.

How can I edit this folder then?

Frankly, I don't understand it either. To find out more about it, I would need to see your project file (the .rsd file) If you could post it here zipped up, I could take a look, but it won't be until this evening. I live in Norway, so this probably means 5-6 hours from now.

Or put it into 'Dropbox' and then post the link

Thanks a lot, I have used the email as the zipped version of the file was unable to reduce the size significantly. Hopefully I will get some feedback!
