At larger screen sizes the text underneath the images is too long it stretches all the way across full width, which makes it a bit unbalanced and generally people find it hard to read long lines of text.

So all you need to do is select the text/paragraph and at the highest breakpoint reduce the width down (maybe try 75% ) ...

Aye, there's the rub. When I select % as the unit in max-width, it comes with a semi-hard wired, apparently random number usually with 6 decimal places (?). The delete key has no effect but I can back-space it away and type in 75 or whatever I need. Same thing using vw.

Clearly I have "too many words." I have edited them down on this try.

You set it on the width not the max width and % not vw
highlight the default % and simply type in 75 or whatever you think it requires,, no need to reduce the verbage

I also forgot to mention that you need set the left/right margins to "auto" that way it centers nicely

Looks better now and even better when the text/paragraph is centered. If you can remember what you had written before put it back it will look great believe me

Like the first person who posted, I learned to love VSD and could modify it quickly. It took me a long time to get comfortable with RSD and I am still struggling. I do not update my website often and find that I have a 'catch up' process every time I get into it. That said, I am very happy with my site, such as it is.

Well done Kathy. You've taken the leap from VSD to RSD. No turning back now.

Only thing I'd doublecheck is how the site appears on your mobile. Appears to be aligning to the left, with lots of padding to the right.

I am a techno dinosaur and while I loved VSD and managed to make a good enough website it wasnt responsive and I was rubbish at updating it as hated the whole FTP aspect of things. Finally made the move to RSD and S-Drive and now everyone thinks I am a genius

The team at CoffeeCup (especially my namesake Suzanne Norvell) were brilliant at support. Appreciate thoughts on ways I can improve it. Especially as my Gallery seems to be playing up a little bit :-)

Hey All,
Thought I would share...

My first website ever: www.saltsforhealth.com.au
A newer redesign of the same website (test account): http://saltsforhealth.coffeecup.com

My own personal website will be uploaded soon.

Regarding the newer design, that is to go live end of this week. The website itself is not optimized or completed yet, but just for the client to have a review and make any layout revisions. It's also missing Sitemap & Footer at this stage. Otherwise, let me know what you think?

The #top page anchor's will be running soon some custom "display if" code to display only if the nav-link was clicked on (eg: click on 'contact us' it'll jump to that section and then the page anchor will appear allowing 'you' to return to the top.

Thank you all

I've had Responsive Designer (first version) for over a year now and I might have made 60 or 70 websites, so I've really got good at using it. This is what you can do with it, here's my 2 favourite websites I've created:

Both are beautiful sites! One thing that you might not be aware of: Having music play on opening the page can be disturbing in many cases. Just imagine someone opening it when sitting in a library. Better to make the music optional, or at least at a very low volume.
Ha en riktig god dag!
