I would and a blend filter to the main call out box, the bright image in the background make the text harder to read. I can't read the language, so I am just going by how it looks.

There is an image of a guy, looks like a good portrait. but the face is to big for the scrolling part. Too easy to scroll andd have half his face missing. To be honest, I don't think that works well for this page. It look like you want to highlight the gentleman, but in this setup, you are hiding him. Right now, I am viewing just his nose, mouth and collar, not inviting to click the link - I say scrap it and just dedicate an area for him. Because you can do a web feature, does not mean that you should. I am not trying to be a jerk, but it appears that guy has a story - MAKE SURE PEOPLE SEE HIM and the Uber Mich link next to him is my opinion.

On desktop screens, I think there is way too much space between text blocks, at 1600 px its getting too spacey, and I am looking at it with 1920 or something like that. Maybe you just need to limit the width of the page if not a lot of content.

Bill is right about the image, Uwe. I think you ought to make it smaller, and then, when Über Mich has been clicked, you can open up the larger one, as you do now. Another, thing that strikes me; if you had that image taken in a half-shady place, you wouldn't have had to squint your eyes.

(Just like if Bill had had his avatar picture taken with a faint light source from the front left side, he would get rid of the shadow around his eyes and wouldn't look as if he were angry )

I do not like photos of me anyway, maybe I'll throw it out and do something else. The photo is just a snapshot anyway, so far away from an intended portrait. It was created in the autumn sun, which was still strong and made me squint. Maybe I will have my picture taken again. Who knows, you're right.
@Bill G: Yes, the font is partially lost if the screen is too wide. Either I increase the font size or I author more content. To limit the page, the template does not exist. It's just up to the edges, which I like personally.

I like both websites. Not an overload of special effects (Ma, look at all the things that I can do).

Personally I think the font you use in the paintball website is a bit too "classy" for the subject of the site.

The flapartner website could do with a more stylish font for the subtitles (it's a bit out of place now) and without the shiver effect on the coloured buttons (if possible avoid double effects as feedback).
Maybe reduce the empty white spaces between the different sections of the site, for the larger screens.

Los Volcanes de Pinacate is now ready to meet the world and I would appreciate whatever rocks you might throw at me. I'm fixing the typos. Created in SD 3.5 and finished in SD 4. All of my images have three little "dragon teeth" on the left side of the top margin. They are not visible when using device view but are in the Edge preview. I'm a bit concerned that the rsd file is 13 Mb.

The 'dragon teeth' are the visible part of the default coffeecup logo that turns up once you choose a background image, before you select the real background image. Since you didn't use background images, that default picture is sitting there, showing up a bit above the inline images. This is the picture: https://red-resources.coffeecup.com/sto … holder.png

To get rid of it, open the style pane - Design - Background, and delete it. You have to delete it three times, it seems, because you seem to have added three of them.

Ah CoffeeCup. I have no idea how that got into my project. I deleted the background image in the class and they're gone.
