You are the third person within a short period of time who is asking a question with similar wording. No information about what kind of problem, nor what kind of software is being used.

We are actually a friendly lot here in this forum, and we are always trying to help. But this seems like someone is spamming us and just taking up our time. This forum is for users of programs made by Coffeecup Software, and since you are appearing as a 'guest', it means that you probably haven't bought any software from Coffeecup.

If I'm mistaken about you, then please come forward and tell us with what tools you are building the site, and what your problem is.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Lobo,

Google fonts do track, but there is a simple solution. Just host them on your server.

Personally I just downloaded the fonts and used them via a css file.

Here's an article that I liked that is a real deep study on using google fonts self hosted.

https://blog.q-bit.me/how-to-self-host- … -part-one/
https://blog.q-bit.me/how-to-self-host- … -part-two/

I have not tried doing this in SD, but it should work.

The problem is that in Site Designer that doesn't actually work in so much as the font doesn't display the chosen font until the project is exported and then depending on the link, maybe not even until hosted on a server (other than local)

And by just downloading them from Google you still have to agree to their terms and conditions that they can track users that visit your website via Ip address.

This may prove to be confusing for a lot of newcomers and less experienced users and far from being a simple solution.

My recommendation to anyone following this thread and wishing to comply (avoid situations arising) is to word the cookies pop up (which most of us should have now as standard, and is no longer an option, but a legal requirement in a lot of countries) to say something along the lines of (Third Party websites may place tracker/cookies. If you do not agree to that then you should set your preferences on your browser) or words to that effect.

As a further precaution, you should also have your "Privacy Policy" say something similar in the section "Third Party Cookies" if you don't have such a section, then you should create one. The privacy policy also needs to have a system whereby a visitor who reads it cannot close it without hitting the "agree to the privacy policy button"

This isn't exactly a simple solution either, but it should cover those delicate bits, and be enough to negate any litigation from anyone who may try it on.

Same Here what with my not-so-fast Internet connection (but better than it has ever been) I had time to make a cup of coffee. :D

Because I only get 3mb where I am, that's why and when one makes websites for clients one needs to know how it looks and works for all, not just for the privalaged few, and fix things that might mean potential clients leaving before the site has opened fully
