I'm finding RSD a great tool, and have been using it daily for many clients since it's first release. One thing I'd like, albeit in an ideal world, is for RSD to be able to use an images folder without having to specify this as a resource. The resources folder is fine on smaller projects, but on larger projects with a CMS and client changes, keeping track of any changed images has caused problems. If I were to specify the image source was an online image like so: images/test.jpg it would be nice that RSD would be able to see this in the project the next time it was loaded ( provided I put the images folder within the exported project ) any changes to test.jpg would also be reflected in the working file after a refresh or re-load of the project file without having to remove and replace the file within the resources section of RSD.
This would also greatly help when overwriting image files with Photoshop/Illustrator etc. to the images folder.
Hope this is clear, many thanks again for a great piece of software.

A direct link to an images folder(s) is a great suggestion. This would be most helpful.
I find the Resources folder rather unwieldy.

You guys can also use the URL and just link them that way instead of using the resource library.

Thanks Steve, I've had some odd behaviors with relative paths to images not displaying in the project, this was some time ago so I'll have another look.
For List Setting: Please add list-style-image for Unordered list
ul {
list-style-image: url('sqpurple.gif');
}

Guys at coffeecup are awesometacular.
Few other suggestions:
1- Inspector panel CSS (read only) please give us permission to write as well , you have no idea how much it helps for customizing the appearance of current selected element by writing / inserting our own custom CSS.
2- Setting panel >>> Footer (box for writing) is too small , it's ok for copy and paste but it would be cool if we could expend it as pop up windows for writing /typing js/ jQuery code.

Absolutely would be helpful!

When you use the resources screen the left hand panel does not clearly display which folder you are looking at - only by looking at the contents to the right panel can this be seen. Also when you delete a folder it appears to default to the images folder not the top level which is what I would expect.

It would be nice to be able to set a favicon at global level for a project instead of having to put it in settings on each page.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
