Viewing Webpage (F12)

when I try and view the HTML code uing the F12 key, I see the webpage on the side or bottom of the page for a split second, then I have just a black view screen I cannot see the page. I have restarted the program several times with the same result.

Hi George,
Where are you previewing? I don't think Site Designer supports f12. Are you using the HTML Editor?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Using the HTML Editor you can preview the page below the code by clicking F12. To get it beside the code you need to click on Ctrl+F12.

Unless...
There are some PCs, or maybe just laptops, where you must hold down the Fn key, So Fn+F12 for previewing below the coding pane, and Fn+Ctrl+F12 for beside. I haven't met anyone else who has to use the Fn key, but if you have an ASUS Vivobook (like me), you may well have to.

In SD you preview by either clicking one of the buttons 'Preview', 'Device View' or 'Preview on'.
