Sitemap Handbook

Good morning. I bought the whole Sitemap package yesterday which included the PDF handbook.

I printed it out and it's unreadable on a black and white printer. Is there any reason why the designers have done it this way?

I find it rather ironic that there's sections on CSS and yet on my device the style is done all nice and pretty but is utterly disfunctional.

Even looking on the screen the image on page three isn't clever; very dark red on dark red, dark orange on almost dark orange. Dark purple on quite dark purple.

Is there a copy available which humans are able to print and read? And what's the point in producing stuff that's unreadable just so that it looks pretty on the screen?

If you are unable to provide me with documentation that I can read then where can I get a refund? I will even take the original word processor document, if need be.

Hi Malcolm, just to let you know, this is a user to user forum. We are users just like yourself. We don't work for CoffeeCup although we love them!

If you have an issue, and it sounds like you do, then go to the top menu and select 'Support', then select 'My Support Room' from the drop down. There you can open a support topic and a CoffeeCup technician will be able to help you get things sorted out.

Please be patient. I know it's never good when something goes wrong, but CoffeeCup really does jump through hoops to make things right for their customers. I'm sure they can get things fixed for you.

That would not be a problem with the PDF Malcolm. That would be an issue with your printer and your system settings. While I knew what the end result would be, I just printed it on an a Lexmark printer in black and white and it printed perfectly. I would suggest you check your printer settings within your operating system.

If you send me your postal address, I will mail you this copy I just printed out.

I wondered what that sound was that woke me up this morning... it was Scott taking that extra step in customer service :)

Yeah but you can't use that as an example where Scott is concerned, he's overactive and hyperactive to start with so he don't count :P

Thanks all. No matter how I try I can't get the faithful HP 4000 to print it out bolder.

I will send the file off to the local high street printers next week.
