Back at Windows XP they used to have a free little Slide Show maker applet that was pretty good. It allowed you to toss together photos into a slide show, even caption it all, and upload it to your we directory so people could see it there. Unfortunately it quit working with Windows 7.

Can VSD do that, by chance? Or it might be a nice free little applet for people who bought VSD or HTML Editor ( like moi! :-)

Allows you to do that and more! I suggest you download the trial version and test it out before you buy. :D

It may well be, but the old Windows XP slide show was free and I cant afford $40 for a slide show, as good as it looks.

Darn near impossible to sort out the vast mess on the web. Lots of "free" downloads that turn out to be shareware with 30 day expirations, all kinds of stuff. <sigh>

Thanks anyway guys.

Again back to my original point... four days trying to find the right app to use...

So we will say 2 hours a day... At minimum wage which in the US is $7.45¢.

So 2x4 is 8. 8x$7.45¢ is $59.60¢. Take the original cost of the program, Which is only $39...

$59.60-$39 = $20.60¢.

So in my book you are saving money by buying CC's Photo Gallery...

LOL! You're right. I had an uncle years ago, who the family used to laugh at, because he'd drive way across town to buy a cheap pair of shoes that was on sale.
