Spinny,

A spammer came through and posted a couple of dozen very similar messages that have been deleted.

Oh, okay. I saw a bunch of other posts that hinted something like that happened, I should have realized this was one of those cases. Caught me up short, is all.

In my endeavor to locate Page Flipping software I have been finding some references to CoffeeCup Effects Factory. Is this an old program that you had? Do you still have it? and did it do the page flipping effect?

Just Googled "CoffeeCup Effects Factory". It still is available for downloads on various sites and apparently it used Java applets to create various visual effects (including page flipping as well as the old ripple effect) on existing images.

So it seems like it was just for images and not for creating flip books of text per se (may be wrong here though). Maybe someday CC could make a Flash version that could work with text as well.

I have followed many of these various sites and they lead back to Coffee Cup download page. Which no longer has that application in their files, at least from what I have seen (or rather not seen).

But thanks for the information and for looking.

That program was discontinued about 4 years ago. Unfortunately it is still linked in many locations.

I would like to add my two pence worth. I would love to see Coffee Cup produce PDF to Flash page turning ebrochure software I've just spent days trawling through site after site in an attempt to find something that is straightforward to use and does'nt involve taking out a mortgage to pay for. In my experiance Coffe Cup are by far the fairest web software developers and I can't understand why others don't see that if thier products are fairly priced they will sell much more of it. It's simple really.

I've been looking too and that's how I came here, to one of my favorite software companies.

Here are two leads I made note of:

http://www.3d-book.com/Basic-Book/basic … book.shtml --- this one is fancy

http://www.flash-here.com/downloads/fla … _book.html -- this one clean simple design

The top one has super versions, but the start up version is $20 and so is the bottom one.

But I wanted to go a step further and use it as a sample coin collector's collection book page flipping for a website I'm building.

I'm trying to achieve a background image effect like what is done with the waves on:
