Hi Coffeecup,

Please let me know what you think of this idea! A lot of social networks and even semi-social websites are integrating user and visitor ability to "vote" on the usefulness of a particular blog, article, picture, post, design, etc., etc., and also the ability to provide feedback on very small aspects of a website (along the lines of the "like" option in Facebook). Do you think this could be possible with CoffeeCup software?

I can think of one thing I have been looking for, but I am not sure it fits into the coffeecup family of programs.

Over the years I have collected a lot of PLR articles and use them to build website content. The problem is looking through the thousands of articles to find one that contains information on the subject and key word that I want to use for a new site page.

I need a product that will let me key in a key word and will search all my article files to find a file with that key word in it and then give me a frequency count of the files that have that key word, so I can decide what articles best suit the page I am trying to create.

I don't think that you can do the file frequency thing with windows, but you 'can' do the searching right in windows for terms inside files. You can tell windows search to search specific locations (such as a directory full of just your articles) and then tell it what words to search for and it will give you a list of all the files that have that search term in it's content. Just choose the selection for

All files & folders >> A word or phrase in the file name >>
enter the word or phrase and then set the location (choose the browse on the drop down) and you now have a list of all the articles with your key word/phrase in them.

Unfortunately that won't give you any totals but at least you can look for which ones

I'll assume there are quite a few different programs out there that can already do what you're asking though, I recall using a couple a bunch of years ago for game server files. Maybe try Google and see what you can find for Text search or something? Good luck on the rest of it

File search with the CoffeeCup HTML editor

The CoffeeCup HTML editor will search in files and has include subfolders -or- not.. It has file types and filters. I use it all the time.
I just love my CoffeeCup software
Sometimes I use notepad++ for things like that too.

I am not to wild about windows search,, I guess it's ok.. but it's not as good as the HTML editor.
Unless you need to enter a date for the file..

How about including a program that gives users the ability to comment when they visit a website that you created on VSD, for example?

I think software that would convert an existing website into a mobile friendly site would be a great idea.

Anybody know an easy way to this now?

I see e-mail flyers and adds that are in HTML. They look great. Does Coffee Cup have a program that will work with Outlook 2007?

Next or future version of HTML editor. You should add a plugin or develop a shortcut system like that described on the zen-coding page at http://code.google.com/p/zen-coding/. For those of us that do a lot of coding nothing works like CoffeeCup HTML, but if you had the ability to shortcut the work like zen-coding allows that would make your product absolutely perfect.
