I would like a pro version of the security folder access software. A version to allow setting up a full fledged members area, so visitors to your site could apply online and get setup with their members area with, or without an administrators actions being involved. That way an administrator could still verify if a visitor met criteria for membership or for less stringent sites the process could be automatic. It would include ability to verify email address and log IP from those applying for member access. Members would be stored in one of a couple of choices for data base, i.e. Mysql, SQL Server, Post GRE, Access or some appropriate number of choices. I don't know of a subset of this is in the eCommerce tools, but I would still like this as a module that would make membership building its own set of processes. That way all the pages for each member would be generated and if paid membership levels were a part of this, then the access levels would also generate automatically. This would be really good for non profit customers, for informative, non commercial services and for some brick and mortar stores that wanted communications with customers that would be protected.
Sorry for very many words for so simple an idea, but this is something I have looked for and unless I am looking in the wrong areas, it is not available.
PS what does everybody think about a modular approach, where the programs communicate with the editor and allow entrance to and data back from the other Coffee Cup programs as you are building a project or site. I know it would be a little more load on memory and CPU to have the standby programs kind of preloaded until called into service. But clicking on a button for a picture map could load the module/program and when you indicate you're done, it could place the finished data into the page and return the mapper into standby until needed.

Hello Everyone'
Is there any possibility of making a few "Golf Website" themes for VSD. I would really appreciate this request. Perhaps a sports section in general would be nice, starting with a few popular sports. IE:.....
soccer, baseball , football , etc;
I think this would add sales for CC as their are a lot of moms and dads who want to bring attention to their kids and friends who participate in weekend sports. Not business type websites but info and results orientated , the new web calender fits in nicely here as well for all game dates and practises etc;
Anyways ,..thanks for listening and to all @ CoffeeCup keep up the good work
Yours truly

I have been given an iPad (Lucky me) but IO would like coffeecup applications for it.
What I really want is a hybrid program. I love Visual Site Designer, Html editor & Form builder .... BUT.
I don't like using flash, there are too many limitations of where I can't use it. So that nixes Form builder. But I love the concept. What I didn't love was the inability to access my elements of the form directly so I can do ajax processing of portions of the form.
What I would really like is for Visual Site Designer to be able to directly add web elements such as pull down lists, text boxes, tables etc. Keep it all in html.
It almost seems that you would have developed an html version of form builder before you went to flash. If that is still around, that would be a good start.

I wish coffee cup had a Donations Program
Donations for what Nicole? For you or for us to give donations to CC?
Like PayPal?
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
I would like to see an option to make a mobile site for cell phone browsers possibly in the vsd or even a separate program which automatically detects wether the viewer is using a phone or computer. Making it easier to use the site on a phone. More and more people are visiting websites with their phones
Two products I would love to see:
1. Contact directory (name, address, phone, email, etc.)
2. Box office (ticket purchases with reserved seating)
Great job with the products you've already got!

Database design. I think with what you guys have done with SCC Pro it wouldn't be hard to create a similar program to handle database design and management. I have a client who wants all of their products listed on their website but they don't want a shopping cart right now, just a way for their customers to search products by category. I think a program like SCC Pro could be redesigned to make things like this happen.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
