There is of course a serious side to the subject of Twinkies, at least for those of us who are old enough to remember the "Twinkie defense" in connection with a double murder in the San Francisco City Hall back in the late 1970s.

As part of the defense, it was argued that an excessive intake of Twinkies and other sugar-rich foods by Dan White contributed to his depression and his 'losing it' and killing two people...

So, be careful out there, Captain! ;)

I hope she makes 'regular' sized Twinkies! These midget Twinkies they have now might just send someone 'over the edge'! (not me - I'm just sayin') :cool:

Hey now, if there are going to be warning labels on Twinkies and the chaos they cause I will try and stop snacking on them. Sending people over the edge or LSD laced Twinkies can be analyzed I hope. If it took place in S.F. In the 70's chances are they were laced, the guy who he bought them from should be arrested as well. I'm tired of twinkie talk, let us spend more time eating steaks! 42 oz for me!

Ya know, I haven't had a Twinkie since I moved back to the woods. They just don't sell 'em at the local bait shop. They should though, I'd bet fish would love 'em too! :lol:

We have Turkish confectionery that looks like that, usually lots of sugar. I shall keep with my Wheatmeal biscuits and a cuppa.
