Hi all!!!

I'm trying to determine what the best Flash development software is out there. Best...and easy to use. Just looking for opinions. Now, I have used Kool Moves and I also have the Adobe Master Suite, which is very difficult to learn. Any ideas?

Of course, Coffee Cup could release something and I would love it! lol :D

Thanks!

Viv...Did you like CC's Flash tool?

Also, why did they pull it? :|

The flash tool was very good, generally very well liked - until Adobe launched an update to their flash which broke the CC flash app completely. And it would have been very expensive and time consuming to fix it. We found out that one of the older versions actually does work, however, and the link to that is somewhere here in the forum, I'll see if I can locate it... wait a sec...

We're waiting also to see if CC takes the Flash Firestarter out of retirement or or not since Adobe has finally fixed their blunder and the flash files do work now from what I've seen posts of on it. If that happens it should be there for you to get the current version soon Kirk. We'll have to wait and see what they are planning to do about it here now.

I only use flash for headers, and the CC one has a separate header tool, which like all the CC programs i use , i could not manage without.

Yep love it, its so simple a non techy like me copes with it, its a dodle, top 2of my signature sites below with flash were done with firestarter from CC

Thanks, Inger!

Keep me posted JoAnn!

Hi Viv, I'm finding that Coffee Cup is a hidden gem! We need to do something about marketing for this company...me thinks there are thousands...no...millions of people who don't know about them and, personally, the friendly user interface is a god send.

Add to that the unbelievably stellar support...THIS is what a software company should be. These user forums are top notch, crap free and fabulous as well!! Overall...one of the best experiences on the internet. I've used the Calendar Creator and Forms Builder extensively! Now going to get knee deep into the other items as well. I'm literally thinking about, depending upon how well this version of Fire Starter works, scrapping every web development tool I have for a Coffee Cup only environment.

This company kicks hind end!

Yeah, people tend to get hooked when they find their way to CC. Personally I've hardly used anything else since I came across them some 7-8 years ago. I do keep an eye on some other programmes too, mostly to see if they come up with something that would be nice to have in a CC programme, and then I suggest it.

Don't forget that they just added in that big pack again for all the software (I think it includes all of it anyways) that is available for a bulk price and it's extremely cheaper than buying it piecework if you're thinking to go for a bunch of things at once Kirk. Info is on the home page:
