I've had this happen 100% of the time, doesn't look like it should so I'll post it here:
1. Add a text element to your layout
2. Put some text in it
3. Double click the element to enter the text editor window
4. Highlight the text to edit size, font or whatever
5. Click the arrow up/down for changing font size
Instead of making the changes it unhighlights the text and you have to rehighlight it and from here it works as it should and changes the size of the text or whatever. This is for most anything I've tried to change, color, size, bold etc.

I see your video and it's working fine for you, but then Scott.... Everything works fine for you hahaha. I guarantee you there is no user error here. I've been using office software for decades, the principle is the same. Highlight the text you want to change, click the arrows/Boldness/ect. All is changed. That is not what happens with my RLM at all, does exactly what I showed in my last post 100% of the time. I closed the program and restarted my machine and the results are exactly the same.

Isn't her computer a Mac? Do they also need to be formatted?

Ty Inger lol, Mac it is, and it definitely needs no format.

If memory serves, she has already done it twice.

Does that Mac have a frying pan app?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Umm no never lol, not sure what you're remembering, but it ain't that so my guess is that your memory isn't "serving"

Things like upgrading to e.g.Yosemite isn't the same as reformatting, is it?
