Has anyone gotten the help files to work from within the HTML editor? I have both Adobe Reader and Foxit reader installed on my computer and neither is recognized by the editor when I click on help/view help file pdf:(

Try re-installing Adobe Reader and then file associate all .pdf's with it. Another thing you an try is deleting this key out of your registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pdf
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pdf

They open fine for me using either the Help menu or the F1 key
